The most popular  OPI colors: Russian Navy, Lincoln Park After Dark, You Don’t Know Jacques!, Alpine Snow, La Paz-Itively Hot and Gargantuan Green Grape have been reproduced as matte colors! Hooray! I have been waiting for this day. I’ve always wondered what matte nails would look like. I imagined it would be chalkboard-esque. Plain ol’ nail lacquer with no shine, sheen or glitter. Lo and behold, my imagination was right… it is like chalkboard! Reading about it on All Lacquered Up and looking at the difference between the original and the matte, I can’t get to get my hands on one of these babies.

The downside though is that it doesn’t last as long. But if you’re anything like me, it wouldn’t matter because you change your nail color once a week anyway.

And to note, I would suggest not doing it white, but that’s just a personal preference. White matte nails might look like you dipped your hand into a bucket of chalk. I think I’m going for the hot pink.  What about you?
