Whitney Eve by Whitney Port

We all know Whitney Port as Lauren Conrad’s shy and pretty ex-colleague at Teen Vogue on The Hills. And then, it was Whitney Port, the L.A. girl who moved to New York City and got her own MTV show.

I never really viewed Whitney Port as a fashion designer, although her own fashion sense was never anything short of impeccable. It was unique in a sense, and sometimes she wore things that I could never fathom myself wearing, but all-in-all, she always managed to look cute, feminine and poised.

After seeing Lauren Conrad’s fashion line, though cute, it set up my expectations on Whitney’s clothing (which wasn’t much). She’s proven me wrong. I browsed Revolve Clothing for Whitney Eve and was pleasantly surprised when I saw the few pieces she has from her new collection.

The line, like herself, is cute and feminine. They’re flowy and look like they are very well tailored. It actually looks like something that Whitney would wear herself. What caught my attention was the black wrap dress styled with the shoes. I absolutely love the low cut front and the material’s detailed pattern/texture.

Although similar to Lauren Conrad’s collection’s simplicity and price tag, atleast Whitney chose to go with silk rather than jersey. We all know a jersey dress is not supposed to cost what L.C. was trying to sell it to us for. The price tags are still expensive, ranging from $121 to $330. Regardless, I find myself coveting that darn black wrap dress, the most expensive item she’s got thus far!

Clockwise from left to right: Wrap dress in black $330, Spaghetti dress in cream $253, Halter tie dress in brown/cream $297, Halter top in peach bows $215

Great dresses too, but damn those are some hot winter heels. Do you know who makes them?

Oh, no you don’t. Trust me. I thought I did, too. I mean.. all good from the front. But the rest of it looks like grandma’s shoe. Hahah..
