Blue is the hottest color for Spring 2012.  It doesn’t matter which hue you are are wearing, just as long as you are rawking blue!

This is a trend I noticed last winter and it’s back in full force again this year – Vibram soles paired with wingtip and oxford styles. Brands such as Comme de Garcons, Visvim and Timberland have all released shoes and boots with the lightweight Vibram sole. These styles aren’t always the most affordable but they are really nice. I say if you’re going to splurge on an article of clothing make it count and spend the extra cash on a pair of nice shoes, that goes for both men and women.

Bright colored jeans was a trend that begun in early 2011, but has been moving full steam ahead into 2012. Expect to see lots of vibrant bright color jeans in spring 2012.  I bought my first pair of jeans that pop last summer and have been nonstop obsessed.  Since then I have purchased another 2 pairs of bright colored jeans all made by J Brand.  Hands down, these are nicest most comfortable pair of skinny jeans I have ever owned. Try rawking a pair of bright denim, you’ll love it!

This season is all about rawking fierce clothing.  Whether it be leopard print, snakeskin, or animal styles jewelry, you will for sure get noticed.  I am one that needs some personal help on this.  I am stuck in my ways and am a stickler for solid colors, however I am forcing myself to break this nasty little habit.  I have recently forced myself by purchasing a pair of leopard heels and am super stoked about wearing them.  So this season I challenge you to step out of your comfort zone a bit and wear something that does NOT scream you and see if you are successful at rawking it.

Ok, so it’s not cross colours, but I bet that brought you way back.  Bright bold colors are back with a vengeance and you will be seeing huge bursts of color popping up everywhere.  Just remember though, although bright colors are in, do not make the same mistakes as the 80′s did.  Keep it minimal, use bright colors to make an outfit pop.  Be careful not to make yourself look like rainbow brite.  Bold colors are best used as an accessory.  Try a bright colored dress with nude pumps.  Or a black outfit with a bright scarf or perhaps a neutral outfit with a coral bag.  If you keep it minimal, I guarantee you it will look amazing!

I’ve recently noticed a rising popularity in envelope clutches, spanning between fashion blogs I frequent to lookbook.nu and beyond. I think it’s a nice departure from the smaller clutches, but I’ll have to do a test run. I can’t imagine a flat clutch holding anything more than a few things (unless it was paper) before it starts bulking up at the bottom which would make it cumbersome to keep a grip on.

Looks like this season they are going away from your traditional peep toe pump.  I have seen an abundant amount of “tear drop” peep toes popping up in spring/summer collections. At first glance, I literally was like “WTF”, however I went ahead and purchased a pair of Sam Edelman Novato’s.  The tear drop peep toe was the most beautiful part of the shoe and looked amazingly flawless on.  I am currently on a search for the ever perfect “tear drop” peep toe slingback pump.

When most people hear about tucked in shirts their minds immediately race back to when they were in elementary and middle school; at least mine does. Or should I say did! I have recently become obsessed with the tucking in of one’s shirt. Were starting to see this trend grace the runways and even in our local cities. It used to be so un-hip to follow this structured rule, but now i’ve noticed it can actually benefit certain parts of the body. By tucking in your shirt it elongates the body and  makes your waist look minimal. Which I’m sure none of us girls would object to! You can try this look with something as simple as a basic tee for a day look, to a fancier ruffled top that transforms you to night. All that I can say is, don’t knock it till’ you try it!
