Yep that’s right, every little boys dream come true!  I recently purchased a pair of these for my little boy and he flipped when he learned that not only was there Spiderman on it, but it also had batman, the hulk, wolverine and etc.  Most shoes tend to stick to one superhero, so it was a nice change to see all of them combines in one shoe.  With the price below $30, it makes it a win/win situation for all parties involved.

It was only a matter of time before handbag designer Rebecca Minkoff stepped in to the shoe designing business and from the looks of it, I’m glad she did. You can never run out of good designer shoes to choose from! The line doesn’t debut until her Spring 2011 show this fall and will consist of 25 pieces which will range from $160-$395. This puts them in the same price bucket as Gwen Stefani’s LAMB shoe line.

I’m excited to see the other styles in her collection and how successful the launch is going to be. Her handbags are popular, so you can probably assume that her shoe line will follow suit.

So, if you skated in the 80′s/90′s, had a brother who skated, knew someone who skated, you will automatically recognize these gems.  Airwalk was the staple, and one of the first shoes ever made for skateboarding, and the prototypes were one of the first very functional skate shoes.   I thought I would never see these shoes again, but guess what?  I was wrong.  Jumping on the “retro” movement in skateboarding, Airwalk has decided to re-issue the Prototype collection in all of their original glory.

In the late 80’s, skate shoes mainly consisted of overly simple suedes and basketball hi-tops. Enter the Airwalk Prototype Series. These shoes took the first serious look at improving skate characteristics like durability, grip, and comfort. These reissued Prototype 600s accomplish all that with rubber ollie pads, outsole flex grooves, padded collar and tongue and bangin’ 80’s style.

I bought my first pair of Ash shoes last fall.  I ended up with two of the most amazing looking tennis shoes I have ever seen on the market.  Not only were they fashionable, but they were incredibly comfortable also.  I have yet to purchase a pair of Ash heels, but from reviews I have read, they are just as comfy.  I am in love with this shoe simply because of all the buckles on it.  This shoe would definitely be a great transition into fall, and be a perfect heel to wear through out the season while the temperatures slowly begin to drop.  A fairly versatile shoe that could go with skirts, dresses, skinny jeans and leggings.  I think the constant usage of them outweighs the semi-hefty pricetag of $230.

Well well, seems as though Mary Kate and Ashley Olson decided to finally put out a nice shoe line for their Elizabeth & James Fall 2010 collection!  I must say I am a bit impressed this time around, considering I ripped their first shoe line to shreds.  They seem to have decided that simplicity is best because it truly is.  I am also loving all of the platforms they are adding on to the shoes.  I might actually be inclined to buying a pair this fall.  We’ll just wait and see.
